Property Inventories

With the Tenant Deposit scheme (2007) in place, it is important for private landlords, and property agents to have a full comprehensive report so as to protect all parties during tenancy terms. Full inventory reports can be prepared as well as check in, check outs and quarterly reports.

RPJ comprehensive reports contain:

  • General Condition of Property Schedule
  • Photographic evidence
  • Full list of contents, including furniture, fixture and fittings.
  • Description of property condition including, walls, ceilings, flooring, paintwork, lighting, woodwork and windows.
  • Description of the standard of cleaning.

Meter readings shall be taken if access is available on the day of inspection. If the inventory clerk is advised of the location of the meter box, then he or she shall take readings, photo exhibits and produce it on the inventory report. RPJ shall not be held responsible for readings, unknown location of meter box, It is therefore advisable that landlords take meter readings prior to commencement of tenancy and upon end of tenancy.

Upon completion of inspection, you will receive your PDF report via email, within 48 hours of inspection. Upon receipt of report, you will be invoiced and payment shall be due within seven days.

We also compile PAT testing reports which all come under our report services that is on offer. As well as PAT testing we compile electrical inspection reports. The Inventory reports all come with photographic evidence taken by a professional photographer.
